After loss, one of the hardest questions can be surprisingly simple:
Now what?
You may know you don’t want to remain stuck in survival mode, but that doesn’t mean you know what comes next.
This free workshop will help you pause, consider where you are now, and identify one practical, faithful next step toward rebuilding your life.
Loss can change nearly every part of your life—your identity, routines, relationships, responsibilities, and plans for the future.
Eventually, you may begin to wonder what rebuilding is supposed to look like. But that question can feel overwhelming when you’re still learning how to carry the life you have now.
NOW WHAT? Finding Your Next Faithful Step After Loss is a supportive, no-pressure workshop for widows who are ready for more than survival but aren’t sure where to begin.
This isn’t about fixing your grief, rushing into a new life, or pretending everything is okay.
It’s about giving yourself permission to ask what you need in this season—and taking one faithful step forward.
You don’t have to be fearless, fully healed, or certain about your future.
You only have to be willing to consider what may come next.
You won’t leave with your entire future mapped out.
You’ll leave with greater clarity about what you need now—and a next step that feels meaningful and doable.
Bring a journal or notebook and something to write with.
You don’t have to share anything personal or speak during the workshop. You’re welcome to come as you are and participate in the way that feels right for you.
I’m Andria Gaskins, founder of RESTORED Widow.
After my husband, Scott, died in 2021, I had to learn how to carry grief while also rebuilding a life I never expected to live without him.
I didn’t receive a complete plan for what came next. Most of the time, I was simply trying to recognize the next faithful step—and find the courage to take it.
That experience became part of the foundation for RESTORED Widow, a community created to help widows carry their grief, reclaim hope, and rebuild a life they can live without guilt.
I created the NOW WHAT? workshop because you don’t need to have your entire future figured out today.
Sometimes, you simply need a place to begin.

The workshop is for widows who are beginning to wonder what comes next after loss. You may still be grieving deeply, several years into widowhood, or somewhere in between.
There is no universal timeline. You’re welcome to attend, listen, and take what feels helpful. This workshop will never pressure you to move faster than you’re ready to move.

No. You won’t be required to speak, share personal details, or participate in a group discussion. You can listen, reflect, and engage at your own comfort level.
No. This workshop offers education, guided reflection, faith-inspired encouragement, and practical support. It is not therapy, counseling, or a replacement for professional mental-health care.
The workshop is open to all. It is inspired by Christian faith and will include references to God, Jesus, scripture, hope, and faith.
Bring a journal or notebook, something to write with, and an open mind. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance.
The workshop is valuable as a standalone experience. Near the end, you may also hear about an opportunity to continue the journey through the upcoming NOW WHAT? program, but there is no obligation to join or purchase anything.
You only need a place to begin.
